Lois Perry is the Executive Director of Heartland UK/Europe, the London-based European arm of the Heartland Institute, a prominent free-market public policy think tank known for advancing skepticism about man-made climate change and promoting economic liberty. Under her leadership, Heartland UK/Europe engages directly with policymakers across the United Kingdom and continental Europe to provide evidence-based resources aimed at shaping policies that emphasize individual freedom, economic prosperity, and science-based decision-making.

She joined Heartland UK/Europe in 2024, bringing with her extensive experience as a political commentator, broadcaster, and activist. Perry previously served as leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) and is the founder of Car26, an organization opposed to the UK government’s Net Zero by 2030 agenda. In addition to her policy work, she is a regular media commentator and has appeared on national radio and television programs discussing energy, government overreach, and climate policy. Her work is centered on challenging what she describes as climate alarmism and advocating for pragmatic approaches to energy and economic issues.
